The Chiefs and Bengals notoriously don't like each other and we've seen the evidence of their disgust early on in today's NFL Week 17 showdown.

L'Jarius Sneed and Ja'Marr Chase got into each other's faces during the second quarter of the game, resulting in personal fouls for both teams. However, safety Mike Edwards was assessed the foul instead of Sneed.

See what happened below.

The Chiefs would ultimately win the game 25-17, holding the Bengals scoreless over the final two quarters.

Chase might have been frustrated about the strong coverage Sneed had on him. The Bengals' star ended with just three catches for 41 yards, the latest in a long line of Sneed's victims.

Kansas City is now locked into the No. 3 seed in the AFC and will host at least one home playoff game. Today's win was a necessary one for the Chiefs. Some issues remain, but we can see the fight in this squad.

Perhaps that squabble will light the team's fuse and empower the Chiefs on a long run. It certainly helped today!
