Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance during Taylor Swift's Era's Tour, dancing on stage and carrying his partner during a song.

His performance was a big hit, drawing mass applause and praise from the packed crowd. In the newest episode of New Heights with his brother Jason, Travis revealed an unlikely source of advice for his performance.

In fact, Kelce relied on advice from former Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy's wisdom to ensure he didn't screw up.

"I initially mentioned it to Tay. I was like, 'How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the "1989" album, that era,'" Kelce said, eventually gaining Swift's approval.

He performed fabulously, adding a special flair to Swift's incredible performance. While carrying Swift off the stage, Kelce admitted thinking back to Bieniemy's advice as a ball carrier in the NFL.

"The one thing I told myself," Kelce continued. "'Do not drop the baby. Do not drop Taylor on your way over to this damn couch,'...Get her to the couch safely."

He obviously succeeded, giving Bieniemy credit along the way. "Coach Bieniemy always used to say, 'That ball has our dreams, goals, and aspirations,'" Kelce remembered fondly. "'You do not drop that ball.'"

The future Hall of Famer is enjoying his newfound global fame but remains focused on what's most important: his team and his family. Kelce looked like a natural on stage, no big surprise given the off-field endorsements he's compiled over the last couple of years.

Even though Bieniemy is no longer with the Chiefs, his influence clearly persists.
