The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the most talented teams in the league and that's because head coach Andy Reid and GM Brett Veach have scouted terrific playmakers on both sides of the ball.

The roster already features stars like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones but there are other emerging studs who are looking to cash in on a major payday.

The Chiefs 2021 draft class was a good one for Veach. They brought in three starters in Nick Bolton, Creed Humphrey, and Trey Smith. Just three years later, these players have all developed in quality pieces and one wants to cash in.

In a presser on April 15, Bolton made it clear he wants to stay in Kansas City for the long haul. He said, "It definitely feels like home. . . Staying here would be a blessing. It would be a dream come true if we could get that done in the foreseeable future."

Chiefs News: Nick Bolton Would Love to Sign Long-Term Deal to Stay in Kansas City

Bolton was a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and has quickly cemented himself as one of the top linebackers in the game.

The Missouri product gets downhill in a flash and is a violent tackler. He owns superb instincts and awareness that allow him to consistently be around the football.

In three seasons, Bolton has recorded 352 total tackles, 21 tackles for loss, nine pass deflections, and three interceptions. He also notched 100-plus tackles in two of his first three years. The only reason he didn't top that feat in 2023 was because he dislocated his wrist and was forced to miss nine games.

It would be wise for the Chiefs to lock down one of the key members of their defense as he's only 24 years and has expressed his desire to stay in Kansas City.

The Chiefs are absolutely loaded and are poised to make another deep playoff run. They currently have the second-best odds in the NFL to win the whole thing at +600. Head over to FanDuel Sportsbook, claim your sign-up bonus, and take advantage of these odds to back the Chiefs.
