The Chiefs are getting set for a pivotal AFC West Week 4 contest against the Chargers on Sunday and star WR Rashee Rice led a tremendous gesture to show TE Travis Kelce support ahead of the matchup.

Much has been said about Kelce's lack of involvement through three weeks. Some of it has been nonsense, yet it's apparent that he's no longer the focal point of the offense he once was. Rice has that role now but he still knows how important Kelce is.

To prove it, Rice reportedly got Kelce shirts for the receivers to wear in pre-game warmups, signaling the group still has Kelce's back no matter what.

Rashee Rice Shows Travis Kelce Support With Pre-Game Gesture

Kelce has only eight catches for 69 yards, though it seems like the offense will try to get him more involved against the Chargers. He routinely dominates Los Angeles and considering that Derwin James is suspended, he should have plenty of room to operate over the middle of the field.

To Rice's credit, he's suddenly become one of the NFL's best receivers. In three games, he has 24 catches for 288 yards and a pair of TDs. Once defenses start giving Rice more attention, Kelce's breakout will come.

It's also a neat display of leadership from the second-year wideout. Rice is one of the team's most important players, yet he's still giving a nod to Kelce and recognizing that he's the leader of the pass catchers.

We'll see what happens against the Chargers, but you can bet Kelce will be involved early to try to get him out of this slump.
