The Chargers can't do anything right this season and they've made another blunder, releasing DT Sebastian Joseph-Day in a stunning move Friday.

With the Chiefs banged up and Joseph-Day looking to join a contender, Kansas City is a logical fit for the productive 2018 sixth-round pick.

Push the chips to the middle, Brett Veach!

Chiefs Rumors: Team Should Sign Sebastian Joseph-Day

Joseph-Day has 31 tackles and three sacks on the season, proving to be a reliable run-stopper in the middle of a defensive line.

That would provide a boost to the Chiefs, as Derrick Nnadi is more of a situational player and the team gave significant snaps to Tershawn Wharton and Mike Pennel last week.

Nothing against those guys, but Joseph-Day started 14 games for the Chargers and is a more proven player at this point. Given the Chiefs' biggest weakness on defense is stopping the run, Joseph-Day is a logical fit.

You can never have too many capable bodies on the defensive line. It's rare that a player of Joseph-Day's caliber falls into your lap this late in the season, but I hope Veach takes advantage of it.
