I know Patrick Mahomes is having a statistically poor season relative to his standards, but this is getting ridiculous.

The first round of NFL Pro Bowl voting was released today, and Mahomes is among the most disrespected players in the entire NFL.

Not only does Mahomes not rank in the top two of QBs after winning two MVP awards, but he's not even in the top three! Just look at these shenanigans:

NFL Pro Bowl Voting: Patrick Mahomes Disrespected

Big congratulations are due to Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill, both ranking in the top five vote getters overall.

That being said, where is Mahomes!? He's fourth among QBs, trailing Tua, rookie sensation C.J. Stroud and MVP-contender Dak Prescott.

If anything, the Chiefs' relatively poor offense could be seen as a positive reflection on Mahomes. Kansas City's receivers lead the NFL in drops and yet Mahomes has the highest completion percentage of his career (67.8%) while being well on pace for the most rushing yards of his career as well.

He's certainly worthy of a Pro Bowl nod, and Stroud's inclusion over Mahomes is merely a product of the moment. There's still time for the two-time Super Bowl MVP to regain respect, though this first vote release is a bit absurd.

It's almost as absurd as FanDuel Sportsbook's $150 bonus if the Chiefs beat the Bills on Sunday! If you bet $5 or more (with a $10 deposit) on Kansas City to win, you'll get $150 in bonus bets if they do. Sign up for FanDuel now!
