Patrick Mahomes Has Perfect First Reaction to Xavier Worthy Draft Pick

The Chiefs pulled off what many are calling the steal of the first round of the NFL Draft, trading up with the Bills to draft Texas WR speedster Xavier Worthy to fill the Tyreek Hill role.

Creed Humphrey had perhaps the best reaction to the stunning heist, though three-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes gave a pretty decent reaction as well. To no one's surprise, Worthy seems to be a popular draft choice around the building.

Patrick Mahomes Has Great Reaction to Xavier Worthy Pick

Worthy is known for his speed, having clocked a combine-record 4.22 40-yard dash this year. He should instantly provide a jolt to Kansas City's wide receiver room and may be the fastest wideout in the league aside from Hill.

Mahomes wasn't the only Chiefs player excited about the pick, as a couple of other active players shared reactions on social media as well.

Following the trade, the Chiefs have an extra fourth-round pick but do not have a third-round selection. They'll pick at No. 64 in the second round on Friday night but, barring a trade, will not draft again until Saturday.

Despite trading up and losing some value in the third round, this has to be viewed as a win for the Chiefs. Andy Reid's offenses have always benefitted from a deep threat, ranging from Desean Jackson to Hill and beyond.

Now, Worthy gets the opportunity to follow in previous legends' footsteps.
