Patrick Mahomes Cheered While Travis Kelce Boo'd at Sporting Event

Patrick Mahomes is a Dallas Mavericks fan and his squad sits one win away from making the NBA Finals in an impressive run.

The three-time Super Bowl MVP joined forces with Travis Kelce and Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown to cheer on Luka Dončić and the Mavs, though the Texas crowd was much happier to see Mahomes than Kelce.

Dallas fans, in jest, decided to embrace the Chiefs' QB at Kelce's expense.

It's all in good fun, and the crowd did eventually give Kelce applause as well, but the fans couldn't resist poking fun at the tight end from Ohio.

Kelce appears stunned to receive the boos before Mahomes riles the crowd up and gets massive applause. The Mavericks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-107 to go up 3-0 in the Western Conference Finals. No NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 hole, so history suggests this series is a wrap.

Dallas will likely take on the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. Boston leads the Indiana Pacers 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals, potentially setting up a showdown between two of the league's brightest young stars in Dončić and Jayson Tatum.

Game 4 between the Mavericks and Timberwolves is on Tuesday. The Chiefs begin the second period of their OTAs that day, so Mahomes and Kelce probably won't be in attendance. Nonetheless, Mahomes should have time to make a trip to an NBA Finals game if the Mavericks advance.

Between the Mavericks, Chiefs and even Kansas City Royals, it looks like everything Mahomes touches turns into gold.
