Despite a string of weeks with poor offensive performances, oddsmakers still put Mahomes near the top of the MVP race.

Patrick Mahomes MVP Odds Give Chiefs' QB an Edge
Jalen Hurts is the presumptive MVP favorite after consecutive wins over the Cowboys, Chiefs and Bills, though Mahomes trails closely behind.
The Eagles take on the 49ers and Cowboys these next two weeks while the Chiefs face the Packers, Bills and Patriots. Should Philadelphia stumble while Kansas City rolls, the award will be Mahomes' to lose.
When you look at statistics, the argument for Mahomes grows stronger. The Chiefs' signal caller has 2,917 passing yards with 21 TDs while Hurts only has 2,697 yards and 18 TDs. If the team's records wind up similar, it'll be hard to argue against Mahomes' candidacy.
