Now, Tennessee is reemerging as a legitimate option once again.

Perhaps after seeing the market cool on Sneed's desire to become the highest-paid cornerback in football, the Titans and Chiefs are talking again.

Chiefs Rumors: Titans Reportedly Back in the L'Jarius Sneed Market

Original reports suggested the Chiefs and Titans were discussing a third-round pick as compensation. Notably, Tennessee does not have a third-round pick this year, though it's possible they have plans to acquire one in a separate trade or give multiple picks instead.

It seemed the Chiefs were okay with the compensation, though discussions hit a snag due to Sneed's hefty price tag for a long-term extension.

While it's unclear if Sneed is backing off those demands or not, the two teams are now back at the negotiating table.
