L'Jarius Sneed is no longer a member of the Chiefs after being traded for draft compensation last month and it sounds like he's excited for the challenge of being the new face of Tennessee's defense.

The Titans signed Calvin Ridley to pair with DeAndre Hopkins, giving the organization a duo that can compete with any in the NFL. Sneed, who is known for his incredible shadowing ability, will get to hone his craft by lining up against the two stars every day in practice.

While discussing his excitement on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Sneed accidentally said the quiet part out loud about Kansas City's underwhelming receiving group.

L'Jarius Sneed Takes Accidental Shot at Chiefs Receivers

"To get out there and work with them elite wide receivers, I never had two elite guys like them, going up against them every day," said Sneed, before quickly realizing that could be considered an insult to his previous team.

"I had great players, but them two guys, household names, they stick out," he continued. "I can't wait to pick both of their brains on how to get better. What they see. What my weakness is from their eyes and not from other guys I've been playing with for four years."

While he wasn't intentionally digging the Chiefs, he's not wrong that he's never lined up against two elite wide receivers. Both Ridley and Hopkins had over 1,000 receiving yards last year, while Rashee Rice led all Chiefs receivers with 938 yards. Travis Kelce is obviously still elite, but Sneed doesn't draw that matchup often.

Kansas City led the NFL in drops (44) and Rice was the only wide receiver with more than 460 receiving yards. Sneed most definitely has better competition now, but it's still humorous that the Chiefs were used as a point of comparison.

Nonetheless, Sneed and the group of underwhelming receivers still won the Super Bowl. Sneed got his massive payday and Kansas City maintained roster flexibility with the salary cap. Sounds like a win-win to me.
