UPDATE: Isiah Pacheco Officially Ruled Out on Friday

See the rest of the story below:

Isiah Pacheco is one of the NFL's best running backs, full stop. He's been spectacular this season and now the Chiefs will face the Bills without him.

For the second consecutive day, Pacheco will not practice. Given Kansas City hopes to get back on track following a disappointing loss to the Packers, losing Pacheco would be a massive blow to the offense.

The Chiefs have already moved from three-point favorites to 1.5-point favorites, and the latest information is not a good sign.

Chiefs Injury News: Isiah Pacheco Still Not Practicing

We don't yet have an official ruling on Pacheco's status, but this is the second straight day he's missed practice with a shoulder contusion.

Of course, Pacheco was disqualified late in the game against the Packers for throwing a punch, so it's not clear when he sustained his injuries. With Jerick McKinnon also banged up, there's now a realistic possibility that the Chiefs go into Sunday's showdown with Clyde Edwards-Helaire as our top running back.

Pacheco is coming off a 110-yard game against Green Bay, totaling 779 rushing yards and four TDs on the ground while adding 209 yards and another TD through the air.

He's been the Chiefs' most consistent offensive player this season, bar none. It's notable that the Chiefs' odds have moved from three-point favorites to 1.5-point favorites, though that change is highly unlikely to be only due to Pacheco's injury.

We'll see what happens throughout the week, but this is not a good sign for the weekend.
