The Chiefs are among the most accomplished NFL franchises in history after a spectacular five-year stretch that resulted in three Super Bowl victories.

Despite the success, the wide receiver position is a heavy topic of debate. Rashee Rice looks like a rising star but Kansas City reworked the group in the offseason to give Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce greater support in the passing game.

There is an illustrious history of success at receiver that the Chiefs hope to honor over the next decade. From Dwayne Bowe to Otis Taylor to Dante Hall, Kansas City has plenty of wideouts worth honoring.

Here's a look at the top 10 wide receivers in Kansas City Chiefs history ahead of the 2024-25 season:

10 Best Chiefs Wide Receivers of All-Time

10. Derrick Alexander (1998-2001)

Derrick Alexander only spent four seasons with the Chiefs but made the most of his opportunity, ranking 11th in franchise history in receiving yards (3,685 yards) for his work from 1998-2001.

Originally a first-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in the 1994 NFL Draft, Alexander played for the Browns, Ravens, Chiefs, and Vikings during his nine-year career before retiring following the 2022 season.

Alexander has the third-most receiving yards in a single season in Chiefs history, notching 1,391 on 78 catches (with 10 TDs) in 2000. Despite inconsistent QB play from Elvis Grbac, Alexander averaged just under 1,072 yards in his first three seasons with the Chiefs before injuries rendered him relatively ineffective in 2001.

Nonetheless, Alexander gave Chiefs fans a glimpse of what single-season greatness could look like as a pass-catcher and deserves recognition on this list.

9. Dante Hall (2000-2006)

Dante Hall's most significant contributions came as a returner but no list like this is complete without mention of the 'X Factor' if you ask me. Hall was one of the defining Chiefs players of the early 2000s, twice earning All-Pro honors for his incredible work in the return game.

Hall spent the first seven years of his career with Kansas City and was inducted into the Chiefs Ring of Honor during the 2023-24 season. 'The Human Joystick' had 12,356 total return yards with the franchise, averaging 24 yards per return with 11 total touchdowns.

As a receiver, Hall's best production came in 2005 with 436 yards and three scores, but we all remember him fondly for his special teams contributions.

He's the single greatest returner in Chiefs history, with respect to Tyreek Hill. Hall electrified fans and struck fear into the hearts of defenses.

Hall's impact in Kansas City is felt long after his retirement. You can walk around the city throwing up his famous 'X' and Chiefs Kingdom will throw it right back up at you. Hall is a deserving member of the top 10 receivers in team history.
