There's no love lost between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals. Despite the teams being in different divisions, they've clearly become rivals in the Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow era, each winning an AFC Championship over the other with frequent battles in the regular season.

While the two teams respect each other, they understand they're enemies. Burrow recently appeared on a live edition of the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce at the University of Cincinnati, during which Travis staged a graduation complete with a beer chug.

During the episode, the Bengals' QB added fuel to the fire by saying his team was "built to beat the Chiefs." Are you sure about that, Joe?

Joe Burrow Declares Bengals Are "Built to Beat" Chiefs

When asked in jest by Jason what it was like to have a stadium named after him, referring to the infamous "Burrowhead" comments, Burrow responded that both teams work hard and have great players.

"I think we match up pretty well with them. We're kind of built to beat them," said Burrow to an explosion of cheers from the Cincinnati crowd.

To Travis' credit, he teased that the Bengals now have the two biggest tackles in the league now to protect Burrow, referencing former Chief and current Bengal Orlando Brown Jr., who joined the podcast as well.

Burrow didn't sound overly antagonistic, but he clearly emphasized the word built and knew what he was doing. It's a fun barb and adds to the rivalry, though is sure to rile up Chiefs Kingdom. Burrow's Bengals are 3-1 against Mahomes' Chiefs but just 1-1 in the playoffs.

Of course, the Chiefs have a whopping three Super Bowl rings in four tries while the Bengals lost to the Rams in their only Super Bowl appearance.

Cincinnati missed the playoffs last year after Burrow went down with an injury, but the Chiefs will host the Bengals at some point this season. Perhaps then we can finally put this "Burrowhead" nonsense to rest.

Watch out what you wish for, Joe, because you just might get it.
