Chiefs rookie WR Xavier Worthy's NFL career got off to a spectacular start, scoring two TDs on three touches during Thursday Night Football against the Ravens. He seems to have gotten the attention of Bengals CB Cam Taylor-Britt going into Week 2, earning questionable disrespect from the fourth-year corner.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the highly-anticipated matchup, Taylor-Britt was asked what Worthy adds to the offense. Instead of showing the rookie his proper respect, Taylor-Britt gave Worthy and the Chiefs some bulletin board material.

Yes, Worthy's speed is his best trait, though he's a much more complete receiver than the Bengals' defender suggests.

Taylor-Britt said that Worthy just brings speed and can run straight, saying if you put your hands on him, you'll slow him down. That's easier said than done, and there's a reason Tyreek Hill's speed helped turn him into the NFL's best receiver.

Worthy doesn't seem to forget slights either. If the former Texas star makes another big play on Sunday, you can bet he'll remember Taylor-Britt's comments. Based on how last year's game went, maybe Taylor-Britt needs to worry more about his own speed.

Drafted in the second round in 2022 out of Nebraska, Taylor-Britt is a quality player, allowing only a 78.0 passer rating when targeted last season. He struggled against the Chiefs though, and now Kansas City's offense has significantly more firepower.

The Bengals are coming off a disastrous Week 1 loss to the Patriots and are staring an 0-2 start in the face. Their organization is dealing with embarrassing contract negotiations with Ja'Marr Chase too, making it seem like the team is crumbling before our eyes.

Worthy looks like a star, while Cincinnati might be fighting just to make the playoffs once it's all said and done.
