Cowboys Star Foolishly Disrespects Chiefs With Absurd Comments

Dallas needs to worry about its own problems

The Cowboys are 4-2 with a litany of their own problems, but that hasn't stopped star defensive leader Micah Parsons from taking a foolish, disrespectful shot at the 6-1 Chiefs.

On his Bleacher Report podcast The Edge with Micah Parsons, the betting favorite for Defensive Player of the Year ranked his top five NFL teams. Conspicuously, Parsons left the Chiefs off the list before insinuating Kansas City doesn't have players you "fear."

Be careful what you wish for, Micah, because you just woke up a monster.

Seriously?? The five teams in order that Parsons listed were the Eagles, 49ers, Dolphins, Ravens and Browns. He argued that all five of those teams "have way more talent than the Chiefs" despite the fact that Kansas City is tied with Philadelphia for the best record in the NFL.

"Who do you fear (besides Kelce and Mahomes)?" Parsons asked, as if the premise of the question wasn't ridiculous.

Kelce and Mahomes being the greatest of all-time at their positions is exactly the point! Aside from them, the Chiefs' defense is still the only unit to allow 21 or fewer points every game this season. That side of the ball may have some fearsome guys too! Ever heard of Chris Jones or Trent McDuffie?

Ironically, the only time these teams played in Mahomes' career was back in 2021. The Chiefs won 19-9 as Chris Jones compiled 3.5 sacks with a forced fumble and fumble recovery. Dak Prescot threw two interceptions, including one to L'Jarius Sneed!

Yeah, maybe that defense has some guys you should "fear" too.

With the Chiefs marching on as the NFL's best team and the Cowboys dealing with internal turmoil and poor performances in big games, it's hilarious Dallas' star would disrespect the Chiefs like this. You know what they say, though, to the victor goes the spoils!
