The Kansas City Chiefs and their fans are busy celebrating the team's Super Bowl win on Wednesday at the franchise's Super Bowl parade. With this being the last public appearance for this group before the offseason brings possible changes, it often provides a stage for key contributors to speak on their futures with the reigning champion.

Well, that's exactly what took place for Kansas City and star Chris Jones at this year's celebration.

Jones got on the mic at Wednesday's parade and made it abundantly clear he doesn't plan to go anywhere after this season. The beloved pass-rusher told fans, “I ain’t going nowhere baby! I will be here next year, the year after and the year after.”

This is a huge statement from Jones on his plans for 2024 and beyond. Both sides were in a difficult situation last offseason before ultimately agreeing to give it one more go, which paved the way for Jones to move on and cash in this spring.

Instead, it seems like the team's Super Bowl run has rejuvenated Jones' love for this organization and he doesn't want to pass up on returning just in favor of making more money.

Jones re-signing for several years would give KC its defensive lynchpin for the foreseeable future. He's clearly in the prime of his powers after coming off of another dominant 10-sack season en route to Pro Bowl and First Team All-Pro selections.

Now it'll be on Jones' representation and the Chiefs to sort out the specifics. Though things could always fall through, it seems as though Kansas City's stud lineman is determined to be back, or he wouldn't have made such a bold proclamation in the first place.
