Reports: Dallas Police Searching for Rashee Rice In Accident Investigation

The 23-year-old Rice grew up around Dallas, TX, and spent his collegiate years at SMU. He was drafted by the Chiefs with the 55th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and exceeded all expectations ever since.

Rice had a breakout rookie campaign as he finished the season with 79 catches, 938 yards, and seven touchdowns. He added 26 receptions, 262 yards, and a touchdown in four postseason games for the Chiefs.

As Travis Kelce declines and eventually retires, the expectation is that Rice will emerge as the primary offensive target for Patrick Mahomes.

Nonetheless, how this investigation impacts Rice and the Chiefs is currently unknown. We will make sure to update you as more details emerge.
