Chiefs vs. Patriots NFL Week 15 Flexed Out of Monday Night Football
By Joe Summers
Chiefs fans wondering if the NFL would subject fans to a Monday Night Football national game between Kansas City and the dreadful New England Patriots need not worry any longer.
With the Chiefs sitting at 8-3 and the Patriots 2-9, the NFL swiftly moved to flex the Week 15 game out of the national spotlight, instead slotting it on Sunday, Dec. 17 at noon.

Chiefs vs. Patriots Moved from Monday Night Football to Dec. 17th at 12 PM
Instead of Chiefs vs. Patriots, we'll now see the Seahawks host the Eagles. From an entertainment perspective, the move makes a ton of sense.
New England has one of the worst rosters in the NFL, led by perhaps the league's worst starting QB in Mac Jones. Andy Reid seems well on his way to overtaking Bill Belichick in the all-time rankings, and this latest decision is just one example of the concerning sentiment surrounding the Patriots.
This will give the Chiefs an extra day of rest prior to a Week 16 showdown with the Raiders on Christmas, a team that put a scare into Kansas City despite the Chiefs' 31-17 victory.
I'd rather see Patrick Mahomes on another national stage, but at least we won't be subjected to a Mac Jones primetime collapse.
