By Joe Summers
The 2023-24 Kansas City Chiefs gathered on Thursday night for their official ring ceremony celebrating the team's second consecutive Super Bowl win.
Players arrived red carpet-style with impressive outfits and the rings are every bit as gorgeous as advertised. It's a one-of-a-kind ring that even includes a nod to the famous "Tom and Jerry" play that won the game in overtime.
Check out the video the team released on social media below.
First Look at Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII Rings Emerges
Boasting 529 diamonds and 38 rubies, it's a truly beautiful ring with special touches specific to this Super Bowl. It mentions that the game went to overtime and includes the years of every Chiefs' Super Bowl victory.
The ring also lists the scores of each playoff win and features a commemorative patch dedicated to the late, great Norma Hunt.
Players and staff are obviously thrilled to get their rings, then they'll turn their focus to training camp to prepare in hopes of holding another dinner like this one next year. Some players won't be back, though Thursday night let everyone involved with that team celebrate together one last time.
With a "Back-to-Back" message on the ring and diamonds galore, it's certainly jewelry worthy of champions. The Chiefs are in the midst of a historic run and have the hardware to prove it.
Let's do this again next year, shall we?
