Chiefs Release Final Inactives List for Super Bowl vs. 49ers
By Joe Summers
The Super Bowl kicks off in under an hour and the Chiefs released their official final injury report, indicating which players will be active and which will not.
As expected, Kadarius Toney will not suit up for the big game despite not having an injury designation. Jerick McKinnon and Skyy Moore are both active, however, giving the Chiefs offense another pair of weapons to unleash.
Here are the final inactives:
Chiefs Injury News: Final Super Bowl Inactives List
Justyn Ross and Toney will both sit, likely to pave the way for Moore and McKinnon. This could spell the end of Toney's tenure with the Chiefs, but we'll see what happens in the offseason.
Moore scored a TD in last year's Super Bowl win over the Eagles, while McKinnon compiled 49 yards and is a consistent pass-catching threat out of the backfield.
Otherwise, there are no big surprises on the final inactives. It's almost time for the big game, and we should be fully prepared and focused to bring home a third Lombardi Trophy in the last five years.
