The Chiefs announced Wednesday they were activating WR Skyy Moore from the Injured Reserve list after he's missed nearly two months with a knee injury suffered in December.

Moore, a second-year former second-round pick, had a disappointing season overall but did score a TD in last year's Super Bowl, giving him a chance at a redemption story to cap off a challenging year.

There's no guarantee that the Chiefs will have Moore dress for the Super Bowl, but the possibility is at least now on the table.

Moore is replacing DE Charles Omenihu on the active roster after the latter tore his ACL in the Divisional Round win against the Ravens.

For the season, Moore caught 21 of 38 targets for 244 yards and one TD, though his versatility on the route tree could potentially provide a boost in spot snaps with Mecole Hardman's recent struggles and the uncertainty surrounding Kadarius Toney.

He played in 14 games on the year, so we'll see if he gets much action at practice to get back up to speed with the offense.

Kansas City has marched to the Super Bowl on the heels of a spectacular defense and efficient offense, but we'll see if Moore gets the opportunity to score in his second straight big game.
