Chiefs Enter Playoffs as Top AFC Contender in Super Bowl Odds

The Chiefs take on the Dolphins in the AFC Wild Card round this Saturday, setting the stage for Tyreek Hill's dramatic return to Kansas City.
Despite having more playoff experience, by a mile, than any competing team in the AFC, the Chiefs are still just third in the conference betting odds to make the Super Bowl. They're considered a top contender, but not the overwhleming favorite we thought they'd be when the season started.
Let's check out the Super Bowl odds as we enter the 2024 playoffs.
Chiefs 2024 Super Bowl Odds Entering Playoffs
The Chiefs have the fifth-best odds to win the Super Bowl (+900), with the third-best odds to win the AFC (+460).
In Super Bowl odds, they currently trail the 49ers (+230), Ravens (+350), Bills (+650) and Cowboys (+750). Kansas City is favored to beat Miami in the Wild Card round, so the Chiefs' odds will progressively grow shorter if they keep winning.
For his career, Patrick Mahomes is 11-3 in the playoffs. He's easily the most successful quarterback on the board, as Lamar Jackson has just one playoff win while Josh Allen is 4-4.
We'll see what comes over the next few weeks, but I'm feeling confident in the Chiefs' chances to hoist a third Lombardi Trophy in the last five years.
