Chiefs Defender Hilariously Trolls Stefon Diggs After Divisional Round Win
By Joe Summers
The Chiefs escaped Buffalo with a 27-24 win in the AFC Divisional Round and now will face the Baltimore Ravens for a right to return to the Super Bowl.
It was a tough battle, though the Chiefs' defense was exceptional against star WR Stefon Diggs, who was held to three catches for 21 yards and a fumble.
Despite the hard-fought game, one Chiefs defender is giddily trolling Diggs on social media following the receiver's pedestrian day.
Willie Gay Jr. Expertly Trolls Stefon Diggs
Diggs famously stayed on the field following the Chiefs' Divisional Round win that became known as the "13-second" game. He took the loss to heart, and now the Chiefs have eliminated his Bills from the postseason for the third time.
Gay Jr. was injured early in the Chiefs' win on Sunday and finished with just three tackles, but he couldn't help himself in trolling Diggs on Instagram following the game.
It remains to be seen if Gay Jr. will suit up for the Chiefs in Baltimore for the AFC Championship, though he's an integral part of the defense.
If his post-game antics are any indication, I think he'll give it his best effort to be on the field.
