Chiefs Get Big Injury News Prior to First Divisional Round Practice
By Joe Summers
Andy Reid spoke to the media Wednesday and announced key injury updates on several players, including the news that Skyy Moore is designated to return from the Injured Reserve list for Sunday's Divisional Round game against the Buffalo Bills.
Moore, who coincididentally last played in the December 10th game against the Bills, has not yet been added to the roster but could join the roster before the end of the week.
In addition to Moore's update, Kadarius Toney and Justyn Ross practiced in some capacity, while two defensive players missed today's session.
Chiefs Injury News: Practice Updates on Several Players
While the team hasn't officially brought Moore back to practice, his 21-day window to return has been activated.
It'll be interesting to see if Toney and Ross ultimately suit up, especially given some of the struggles other wide receivers have had the last few weeks.
Defensively, Derrick Nnadi has been a critical contributor on the defensive line, so we'll need to keep an eye on his absence. Cam Jones only plays in a limited capacity, and it's great to see there were no other negative updates for the defense.
We'll keep you updated throughout the week on who will suit up and who won't, though it's the marquee matchup of the weekend nonetheless.
In any case, it's obvious the Chiefs will be far healthier than the Bills on Sunday night.
