Everyone within the AFC West is trying to play catch up to the Kansas City Chiefs. They've won back-to-back Super Bowl titles and have hopes of winning their third.

The Chiefs have also dominated their division, winning the AFC West every year since 2016. The Denver Broncos were the last team to win the AFC West back in 2015, which was also the last time they made the playoffs.

Denver has been trying to play catch up since then and has really struggled under center. Since Peyton Manning retired in 2015, the Broncos have had 13 different starting quarterbacks.

That number is going to increase to 14 in 2024 but the latest betting odds reveal who is favored to start Week 1.

Bo Nix Is Favored To Start in Week 1

Head coach Sean Payton stated that the Broncos are having an open three-man quarterback competition between Bo Nix, Zach Wilson, and Jarrett Stidham.

All three guys are expected to get some first-team reps but according to DraftKings Sportsbook, Nix is the -400 favorite to start Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks. Wilson is second at +450 and Stidham is now the long shot at +650.

The Broncos selected Nix with the 12th overall pick with the expectation that he'll be the next franchise quarterback. Frankly speaking, going up against Wilson and Stidham isn't stiff competition.

Nix, 24, played five seasons in college so he has a lot of reps but the NFL is a different beast.

Regardless of who's under center for the Broncos, the Chiefs know they have nothing to worry about. They've defeated Denver in 16 of their last 17 outings.

No matter who is throwing passes for Denver, the Chiefs will have the utmost confidence in their squad.
