Best Bets for Chiefs vs. Raiders in NFL Week 16

The Chiefs square off with the Raiders on Christmas Day with a chance to clinch the AFC West for an eighth consecutive year with a victory.

Kansas City beat the Raiders 31-17 last month after falling into a 14-0 hole and sits as a huge favorite to win once again.

Let's look at the odds before I get into my best bet for the Week 16 matchup.

I know the Raiders just put up 63 points on the pathetic Chargers, but I think the value still lies on the Chiefs to cover the big number here.

Las Vegas is just 1-4 against the spread (ATS) in its last five games on the road, while Kansas City is 4-2 ATS in its last six at home. The Chiefs have covered in four of their last five in this matchup as well. Given the playoff implications, Patrick Mahomes and company should be locked in.

Over their last eight games on the road, the Raiders averaged fewer than 14 points per game. Provided the Chiefs can get to the mid-20's, and I think they can, Kansas City should cover.

After all, the Chiefs have scored 30+ in eight straight games against the Raiders. I'm not about to predict that streak to end, so I think Kansas City wins convincingly somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-14.
