The Chiefs are off to an undefeated 4-0 start ahead of a Monday Night Football showdown with the Saints and while Kansas City is focused on its own game, it's hard not to laugh at the pathetic fumbling two key rivals did on Sunday.

Sean McDermott's Bills stole a loss from the jaws of victory with some of the worst play-calling the NFL has ever seen, though even he was outdone by Bengals head coach Zac Taylor's cowardly decisions that might've just ended Cincinnati's season.

With Joe Burrow dominating, Taylor went wildly conservative in overtime against the Ravens and took the ball out of his star QB's hands. The Bengals lost, and now fans are calling for their mediocre coach's job. It's hard to argue with them.

Bengals Fans Demanding Zac Taylor Be Fired After Cowardly Decision

If you missed it, the Bengals had the ball at the Ravens' 38-yard line only needing a field goal to defeat a division rival and improve to 2-3. Instead of letting Burrow, who had 392 yards and five TDs, throw the ball to improve field position, Taylor ran three straight runs up the middle.

Evan McPherson missed a 53-yard field goal. The Ravens immediately went down and kicked an easy chip shot to win the contest 41-38. Despite Burrow's best efforts, Taylor bizarrely chose to put his kicker in a difficult situation that would've been made easier with one five-yard pass completion.

To make things worse, Taylor defended his conservatism after the fact. This is not how a legitimate coach behaves and Bengals fans are melting down before our eyes.

For all of the smack talk Chiefs fans have endured at their rival's hands over the years, it's beautifully poetic to watch this downfall. Cincinnati is now 1-4. Their season isn't technically over, but they have to go on a long winning streak to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Kansas City still owns the AFC. Every major competitor has fallen short when the lights get brightest. Burrow is likely too good for Taylor to be fired but as long as he's in charge, the Chiefs don't have much to worry about on a year-to-year basis.
