The Chiefs are everyone's Super Bowl, but that statement holds true for the Bengals more than any other team. Rookie safety Daijahn Anthony proved as much with his embarrassing comments, admitting the lock screen on his phone is a picture of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Anthony is part of the defense that let Kansas City march down the field, in large part thanks to an ill-advised penalty, to win the game. He's catching fire this week, but the seventh-round rookie likely shouldn't have been in the contest much in the first place.

Even though Cincinnati has, well, other games to play, his focus remains on the team he lost just to.

Bengals S Daijahn Anthony Makes Embarrassing Admission After Chiefs Game

"I honestly can't wait to see them," Anthony said, before telling reporters that he has pictures of Mahomes and Kelce as his lock screen so that he can "see it every day."

Apparently, Anthony has a slideshow that scrolls through different pictures. While most people have a significant other, neat design, pet, or something in that realm, Anthony instead wants to be reminded of a significant mistake and the rivals who helped cause it.

From a motivational standpoint, it's understandable. However, that doesn't make it any less embarrassing. Anthony did not record a statistic in the game, so he didn't make many contributions to speak of.

It's obvious the Chiefs are in the Bengals' heads, and Cincinnati may be in trouble. Their schedule lightens with matchups against the Commanders and Panthers over the next two weeks, but they could be on upset alert in Week 3 if they don't get out of their own heads.

The Ravens had similar meltdowns after losing to the Chiefs, then promptly fell to the Raiders in Week 2. There's a real curse the week after playing against Kansas City it seems, and the Bengals' coaching staff needs to correct their players' mindsets if they're going to avoid another disaster.
