Absurd Kadarius Toney Long-Shot Super Bowl 58 Bet Placed

At least one bettor at DraftKings Sportsbook believes Kadarius Toney will not only play in the Super Bowl, but make a major impact.

The sportsbook reported that one bettor placed a $25 bet on Toney to win Super Bowl MVP, a bet that would pay out $20,000 at +8000 odds. It'd be a stunner for sure, but hey, at least it'd mean a Chiefs victory!

After a strange couple of weeks for Toney, it's no certainty that he'll play, so this bet certainly qualifies as a long-shot.

The former first-round pick hasn't played since December 17th against the Patriots, gaining just five yards on four targets. He's dealt with lingering injuries and is on the injury report listed for "personal reasons" heading into the game.

We know how electric Toney can be with the ball in his hands, evidenced by his record-setting 54-yard punt return to help seal last year's Super Bowl win. The issue has been consistency and actually getting him the ball in space.

Toney finished the regular season with just 27 catches on 38 targets for 169 yards and a score, though his touches primarily came on gadget plays around the line of scrimmage.
