The Kansas City Chiefs, like the rest of the NFL, are preparing to kick off their 2024 training camp. Unlike the rest of the league, they'll be out to defend their Super Bowl win once again.

Kansas City won the past two titles and is looking for their third in a row, and fourth with Patrick Mahomes under center. They've made some impressive moves this offseason — including adding several wideouts.

With their additions in the draft and free agency, they will have some tough decisions when making cuts for the 53-man roster. With that goal in mind, here are six players who have seen their stock fall and might be in danger of missing out.

6. Kadarius Toney, Wide Receiver

It's hard to find an easier target than this. Well, not an easy target in the passing game but easy target for someone who isn't living up to expectations.

In the case of Kadarius Toney, his stock has dropped faster than he drops wide open touchdown passes from Patrick Mahomes.

A first-round pick in 2021, it took 12 games and just over one season for the New York Giants to wash their hands. The Chiefs thought they could turn his raw talent into NFL gold but so far, that hasn't been the case. Toney did set a record for the longest punt return in NFL history but outside of that play, he's been a huge disappointment.

What's worse is that Toney is oblivious to his struggles. He still insists he's a No. 1 wide receiver, which is alarming. If he doesn't see the problem, he's not going to try and fix it.

It's gotten to the point that there are rumors the team would like to trade him — but there's not likely to be any interest.
