3. Neil Farrell, DT

The defensive line is stacked for Kansas City. Chris Jones is still the leader of the defense and once again put up some dominant numbers in 2023. Starting next to him is Derrick Nnadi, who does a lot of the dirty work. While Jones is able to push up field and attack the quarterback, the 317-pound Nnadi is a space-eater who clogs the running lanes.

In 2023, Nnadi put up 29 tackles and a sack in 17 starts. While he did a decent job, the Chiefs were looking for more down the stretch and signed Mike Pennel in late October. The 330-pounder ended up playing well in the playoffs and helped the Chiefs win it all. He re-signed this offseason, meaning Nnadi and Pennel will once again be the nose tackles.

They also have an undrafted free agent who looks to get into the action in Fabien Lovett, Sr. While he's a bit old for a rookie (Lovett spent two years at Mississippi State and four at Florida State), he has the potential to play in the NFL. He's not likely to see the field in 2024 but should make it as a developmental prospect.

That means Neil Farrell, Jr. could be on the outside looking in.

Farrell won a title with LSU in 2019 and then picked up a Super Bowl ring this past season with the Chiefs. He was originally a fourth-round pick for the Raiders but played in just nine games with them. He's been active for three games in Kansas City and has just one tackle for them.
