2. Skyy Moore, wide receiver

Skyy Moore is a classic case of what is it that you do here, exactly?

The Chiefs just lost Rashee Rice to a potentially devastating knee injury, so they might not be rushing to cut from their current crop of receivers at this stage. With that being said, Moore is going to have to start finding a way to make an impact on this team when he's given snaps, or the reasons to justify keeping him around are going to completely disappear.

Moore has two catches this season for zero yards, and he's not returning kicks or punts for the Chiefs. That duty belongs to Mecole Hardman, who is also not making any impact on the offense but at least has special teams to keep him on this roster.

Moore was one of the players many had targeted in the offseason as a potential roster cut or trade candidate, and early this season, we're sort of seeing exactly why.

Moore is a former second-round pick who showed big-play ability at the collegiate level, but it just hasn't translated to the NFL. Even though Moore has found himself in one of the most favorable situations a young receiver could ask for, he simply hasn't done enough to prove himself worthy of a roster spot.

If the Chiefs did end up cutting him, I'm sure it wouldn't be long before he found a job with another team. We've seen this team make some cutthroat decisions already this year with the release of Kadarius Toney, so don't be surprised if the former second-round pick gets the axe in October.
