4. DT Tershawn Wharton

Moving Wharton only makes sense if Veach has a chance at a splashy trade. He's an athletic, rangy defensive tackle who serves as valuable depth behind Chris Jones and Derrick Nnadi, but he'd be attractive to a number of teams given his impressive play this year.

He just had his best game of the season against the Chargers, compiling four tackles and adding a pressure to help force a George Karlaftis sack. He has five career sacks, though his athleticism is his most desirable trait.

If the Chiefs don't intend to resign Chris Jones this offseason, I expect the team to keep Wharton. However, if there's a legitimate path to keeping Jones, moving Wharton for some value now makes a lot of sense.

There are some injury concerns with him as well, though I don't think that would impact his trade market much.

It would hurt to see Wharton go, but players like him always have value on the trade market and Veach should be wise about seeing what offers he could fetch.
