3. Darius Slayton - New York Giants

Maybe the Chiefs just want to triple-down on speed. Darius Slayton ran a 4.39 40-yard dash and the New York Giants are going nowhere fast, so I think they'd be open to the idea of trading him. He was New York's leading receiver last year, but they just drafted Malik Nabors after drafting Jalin Hyatt in the third and Wandale Robinson in the second.

The Giants have spent three high-value draft picks at the position in the last few years, meaning Slayton could soon find himself on the way out.

His contract expires after this season and New York may choose to build around the receivers they recently acquired. In that situation, maybe Slayton be had for a draft pick, which the Giants desperately need.

Make no mistake, he's a productive player. Despite playing for the Giants all five years of his career, Slayton has four seasons with at least 724 yards while averaging 15.1 yards per catch with 19 career TDs.

He posted an excellent 3.8% drop rate in 2023 and could help stretch defenses while giving Patrick Mahomes three bonafide deep threats. Why not recreate the Legion of Zoom with Hollywood Brown, Xavier Worthy, and Slayton? It's at least worth thinking about, right?
