4. Brian Burns - EDGE
Poor Burns has been toiling away in mediocrity with the Carolina Panthers and dangled in trade talks for multiple years now, but he still hasn't been able to escape.
Now? He can. What better team to join than the two-time reigning Super Bowl champions? If the Chiefs want to make a strength even stronger, getting a pass rusher of Burns' ability would give Kansas City the most fearsome defensive line in the entire league.
According to ESPN Analytics and Next Gen Stats, #Panthers Brian Burns is currently ranked 6th in pass rush win rate amongst EDGE rushers

This is a true premier player, routinely dominating offensive lines despite a lack of production around him. He's had at least 7.5 sacks every year of his career, highlighted by the 12.5 he put up in 2022.
Reports are that Burns wants north of $30 million annually, which is Chris Jones money, so he'd have to accept a bit less to join the Chiefs.
That's the beauty of all of this success, though. Players should be willing to take discounts to chase a Super Bowl ring with Mahomes, Andy Reid and the rest of the stars with guaranteed organizational stability. We'll see what comes of the next couple of months, but any of these additions would be a slam-dunk win for Kansas City.
