4. Kareem Hunt - RB

What a wild time for a reunion this would be, eh?

Kareem Hunt was last seen as a capable dual-threat running back with a valuable role for the Cleveland Browns. He spent five years with the organization after two years with the Chiefs. He was left go from the latter after lying to the front office about his involvement in a domestic violence incident, so the chances of him returning to Kansas City are admittedly slim.

Nonetheless, fans have been asking for his return for years and there might not be a better time to reunite with the 2017 third-round pick. Hunt led the NFL in rushing yards during his rookie season and the Chiefs have holes in the running back rotation. Could it happen?

It almost definitely won't. Hunt could still be a valuable weapon on an NFL team regardless. Similar to Dickerson, it's surprising that he's not on a roster. He scored nine TDs in 2023 with the Browns and is a dynamic threat in the red-zone. Given teams like the New York Giants are starting Devin Singletary, it's hard to think that Hunt couldn't still produce.

Given the Samaje Perine signing, Hunt almost certainly won't join the Chiefs. It's fun to think about though, and the 29-year-old running back's skillset is too versatile to sit on the sidelines for long.

Expect Hunt to find a new home at some point before the playoffs.
