2. Jawaan Taylor - OT

Taylor, who signed a nifty four-year, $80 million deal this offseason as the Chiefs' largest acquisition, has been a disaster.

He not only leads the NFL in penalties (20), but rates as below average from Pro Football Focus and has had a difficult time handling speed rushers.

Patrick Mahomes is on pace for career-worst numbers, partially due to the terrible receiver play but also due to underwhelming offensive line protection. Put simply, this unit has not been as good as advertised. Considering the massive contract the Chiefs gave him, I'm putting the blame at Taylor's feet.

Sure looks like highway robbery to me. I loved the Taylor signing at the time and thought he put together some great tape in his time with the Jaguars. We haven't seen that same player in 2023.

The loss to the Raiders was the line's worst performance of the season, explaining why it was the worst overall offensive performance as well.

For the Chiefs to reach their goals, Taylor simply must improve.
