2. Darius Slayton - New York Giants

This would be a much cheaper acquisition, though Slayton is a player I've had my eye on for a while.

He's got only 19 catches for 257 yards on a horrific Giants offense, but he's shown significant promise early in his career with three 700+ yard seasons already to his name.

Slayton scored 8 TDs in his rookie season, averaging 15.4 yards per catch. He fits the mold of a Chiefs receiver, routinely creating yards after the catch with impressive agility and speed.

With experience in the return game, Slayton could help fill a role on special teams as well. I can't imagine he'd be particularly expensive given the Giants' struggles, so he represents a perfect buy-low candidate for Veach and the Chiefs.

Slayton averaged 5.7 yards after catch per reception last season, making him an ideal fit for Kansas City's new offensive approach.

The Giants should be sellers at the deadline and the Chiefs buyers. This is a match made in trade heaven.

This final trade target is one that would have fans buzzing with excitement.
