3. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars stumbled in a significant way to end the regular season, losing five of their final six games to miss the playoffs entirely as Trevor Lawrence finished with 19 turnovers.

Jacksonville's interior offensive line was a huge problem, and Puni likely best projects as a starting guard with the ability to cover other positions if needed. Protecting Lawrence will be a top priority after the ankle injury that helped detail the season, so I anticipate the Jaguars being aggressive in adding help during the draft.

Puni's excellent work in the run game would benefit Travis Etienne as well, who emerged as one of the better running backs in the league during his sophomore campaign.

In allowing the Jaguars to lean more on Etienne and even 2023 third-round pick Tank Bigsby, drafting Puni would take some pressure off Lawrence as he tries to mitigate the turnover problems that've plagued him in his first three seasons.

You could do a lot worse with a day-two pick than Puni, especially considering the relative youth of the Jaguars' other offensive lineman. Puni is more experienced than the typical prospect his age and he'd help accelerate Jacksonville's competitive timeline.
