2. Kansas City Chiefs

Originally a four-year player at Central Missouri before joining Kansas, Puni is quite familiar with the Kansas City area and the Chiefs as a result. Offensive line depth is a big need for the Chiefs heading into the draft and Puni represents a great, affordable fit for an organization with limited picks relative to previous drafts.

It's no secret that Andy Reid values versatility in his offensive linemen, so Puni's proven ability to play multiple positions across the line make him a logical fit with the team.

The Chiefs plans for next season's line aren't quite clear, but it seems likely that 2023 third-round pick Wanya Morris will start at left tackle to open the year barring an unexpected reunion with Donovan Smith.

That would complete Kansas City's starting group alongside Joe Thuney, Creed Humphrey, Trey Smith and Jawaan Taylor. However, Puni could be a natural replacement for Thuney, who has two years left on his contract before becoming an unrestricted free agent.

Taking Puni in the middle rounds with the intention of developing him into a long-term starter is a good idea, as he'd be able to take over in a spot start should any player miss time in 2024. Considering the Chiefs have dealt with offensive line injuries to some capacity each of the last several years, I'm confident Brett Veach will do his diligence on Puni.

This last team is a contender as well, though they'd need Puni to start right away instead of having any time for patience.
