3. Nick Bolton

The Chiefs’ front seven left a lot to be desired in Thursday night’s season opener against the Ravens. Kansas City struggled to stop Jackson on the ground, as he carved them up for 119 yards on 15 carries.

When the Chiefs’ defense faced Jackson in the AFC title game last season, the dual-threat QB had 54 yards on eight carries. Kansas City linebacker Nick Bolton certainly didn’t do his part in stopping Baltimore’s offense.

Bolton had seven tackles and a deflection, but struggled overall in pass coverage, as he couldn’t bring down Likely, who went for 49 yards on a touchdown. If the veteran linebacker wraps him up, the Ravens might’ve not scored a touchdown.

The 24-year-old linebacker likely won’t have a great PFF grade after Thursday’s night nail-bitting win over the Ravens. But if you are a Chiefs fan, you must hope Bolton and the rest of the front seven clean up their issues quickly.
