2. Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Valdes-Scantling is in the same spot as Hardman as the veteran wide receiver offers big-play ability but couldn’t do it consistently with the Chiefs in 2023.

After a good 2022 season (42 receptions for 687 yards and two touchdowns), Valdes-Scantling took a noticeable step back in 2023 (21 receptions for 315 yards and a touchdown).

The veteran receiver got outplayed by Justin Watson, who became a reliable pass catcher for superstar QB Patrick Mahomes. Watson had 27 receptions (53 targets) for 460 yards and three touchdowns.

However, Valdes-Scantling still has something left in the tank and should find a job after the NFL draft finishes. But he’s competing with guys like Odell Beckham Jr., Michael Thomas, and Tyler Boyd, who are unrestricted free agents.
