3 Chiefs on the Trade Block After the NFL Draft

1. Skyy Moore, WR
Coming out of Western Michigan in 2022, Skyy Moore was an intriguing prospect despite not being known as an elite route-runner. Moore is still hyper-competitive with an impressive catch radius and the Chiefs were thrilled to bring him in as a second-round pick.
They were hopeful to turn him into a weapon out of the slot but Moore came along slowly as a rookie with just 22 receptions for 250 yards. They expected more in year two after JuJu Smith-Schuster left via free agency but again, Moore wasn’t able to live up to expectations. This time, he had 244 yards and a single touchdown on 21 receptions.
By the end of the year, he was losing time on the field with Mecole Hardman getting the key snaps in the Super Bowl — including the game-winning touchdown in overtime.
Entering his third season, Moore is likely running out of time to make a mark in Kansas City. It doesn’t help him any that Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy are on the roster now. The potential suspension of Rashee Rice might be the only reason to hang onto Moore but the Chiefs could still look to move on if they don’t see any positive change early in camp.
