2. Kingsley Suamtataia, offensive tackle

The Kansas City Chiefs have had a bit of an unfortunate revolving door at the left tackle position in recent years. It looked like Orlando Brown Jr. was going to be able to be a fixture for the franchise after the Chiefs managed to bring him in, but that idea quickly fizzled and Kansas City has been back to the drawing board.

It's somewhat of a wonder the Chiefs were able to win a Super Bowl last year with Donovan Smith at the left tackle position considering how badly he has struggled with penalties late in his NFL career, but lo and behold...

This offseason, the Chiefs committed to a youth movement at the left tackle position, pitting 2023 third-round pick Wanya Morris in a battle against 2024 second-round pick Kingsley Suamataia. As of the end of training camp, Suamataia has won the battle but you never know if or when the Chiefs are going to get a little impatient with his development, especially if Patrick Mahomes starts taking a bunch of unnecessary hits.

While the rest of the NFL world looks upon the Chiefs as a mighty force with few weaknesses, the fans in Chiefs Kingdom are at least slightly concerned over Suamataia this season and how he will hold up against veteran NFL pass rushers. Especially since he's blocking for Patrick Mahomes's blind side.

If things go off the rails a bit, I wouldn't be the least bit shocked to see Andy Reid pull Suamataia and put Wanya Morris in there to see what he can do. Now, there's no guarantee of Suamataia struggling that badly, but you just can't predict what will happen with rookies with 100 percent certainty. If Suamataia struggles, the Chiefs could make an in-season change and reevaluate down the line.
