3. Justin Reid

For better or worse, Reid is one of the leaders of the defense and will be on the field virtually every snap. While he salvaged his day with some nice plays in the second half, Reid was brutal in the opening 30 minutes of the game.

Joshua Kelley's 49-yard score was made possible because Reid took a bad angle and he's been repeatedly targeted in pass coverage. Joshua Palmer and Gerald Everett both had nice days on Reid's watch in this game alone.

So far, he hasn't been worth the hefty contract the Chiefs gave him. That can change, obviously, and Reid makes enough splash plays to give you confidence he can figure it out. At the least, Reid's poor play hasn't been a huge issue for the defense overall.

Kansas City still fields perhaps the AFC's best defense. If Reid is the lone weak link, we're in pretty good shape.

That being said, I hope to see improvement for this team to reach its full potential.
