3. Trent McDuffie/L'Jarius Sneed - Nice List

I'm lumping these two star corners together because their skillsets so perfectly compliment each other. You can't have a PB&J with just peanut butter and you don't have the NFL's best secondary with just one of McDuffie or Sneed.

From smothering standout receivers all season to making game-changing plays, McDuffie and Sneed have been the two most important players on the defense. Their versatility enables Steve Spagnuolo's entire scheme, helping propel the Chiefs to one of their best defensive seasons in years.

Sneed typically shadows opposing top receivers and has allowed a 55.5 passer rating when targeted this season, allowing McDuffie to hunt for big plays and force a team-leading five fumbles this season.

Keeping these two together is my No. 1 priority for the offseason. Extend Sneed and let's keep the NFL's best cornerback duo on the Chiefs for years to come.

The story of the season has been the receivers' struggles, so unfortunately there's another one on the naughty list.
