Patrick Mahomes is no stranger to big moments. He's a three-time Super Bowl MVP for a reason with a chance to add to his legacy during Sunday's AFC Championship against the Buffalo Bills.

The Kansas City Chiefs have the rare chance to become the first time in the Super Bowl era to three-peat. This is perhaps the biggest game in GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium history and the crowd should be frenzied.

Not that Chiefs Kingdom needs any nudging, but Mahomes spoke to the media on Thursday and delivered a special request to the best fans in the country.

Patrick Mahomes Has Special Request for Chiefs Kingdom in AFC Championship

In Thursday's comments, Mahomes praised Chiefs fans and asked them to turn things up a notch on Sunday.

"Chiefs Kingdom, they're always passionate, they're always loud," Mahomes told reporters. "I would just say, see them take it up a notch. Let's see how loud this place can really get."

The loudest stadium in the world is no stranger to excited crowds. Kansas City has the decibel record for a reason and you might be able to hear the roar all the way across the state line. If the Chiefs win, they'll be one game away from officially becoming the most successful NFL dynasty ever. The stakes couldn't be higher, so it's reasonable for Mahomes to ask fans to reach a level of noise never achieved.

Josh Allen and the Bills have never overcome Mahomes in the playoffs. They've won four straight regular-season games but been met with heartbreak in the postseason, adding an extra layer of importance to this matchup.

No matter what happens, Chiefs fans will be ready to deliver. FanDuel Sportsbook has Kansas City listed as 1.5-point favorites with +210 odds to win the Super Bowl. This will be the last game at Arrowhead for this season no matter what and hopefully, Chiefs fans won't let Mahomes down.
