The Kansas City Chiefs have the Philadelphia Eagles rolling into town for a Super Bowl rematch in Week 2.

The Chiefs aim to bounce back after they fell 27-21 at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers. One of the biggest plays in the game came late in the fourth quarter when Chris Jones shifted inside on a pass rush, leaving the edge unattended, which allowed Justin Herbert to scamper down the field for a 19-yard gain that clinched the game.

LB Drue Tranquill and Jones were seen in a shouting match on the field after the play, but LB Nick Bolton stepped in to separate the two. Bolton spoke about the disagreement again on Wednesday and made it clear there's nothing to worry about. It was just in the heat of the moment, which is going to happen in football.

"We're still brothers at the end of the day. Just highly competitive guys, trying to go out there and get a win. . . Everybody still loves each other. Still the same team. No rifts," per Charles Goldman of A to Z Sports.

Nick Bolton Isn’t Worried About Defensive Rift Following Week 1 Spat

The Chiefs have been to five Super Bowls and won three of them since 2018. They expect greatness, and when someone messes up, players will be held accountable. That's exactly what happened in the loss, even for a player with the resume of Chris Jones.

The Chiefs' defense had a chance to get the ball back to Patrick Mahomes and the offense, but they weren't able to answer the call.

As the season goes on, arguments on the field aren't something that fans should get accustomed to. That hasn't been a problem under the Andy Reid era, and it's not something that will magically pop up.

When playing a competitive sport like football, emotions are always going to run high. That's exactly what happened here, and like the leader that Bolton is, he stepped up to shut things down. And he continues to make it known.

No one in the locker room is worried about it anymore and is focused on the Week 2 tilt against Philadelphia. That incident is in the past, so the page is looking to be turned there. And Bolton is making it known.
