Kadarius Toney had a rough time in Kansas City. In two seasons with the Chiefs, Toney had 41 receptions on 55 targets for 340 yards and three touchdowns. Despite having a 74% catch rate, Toney had some major drops and other errors that led to their exit from Kansas City.

On September 9th, Toney signed with the Cleveland Browns practice squad but has yet to play. That changes tonight as Toney is set to make his Browns debut against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.

Chiefs News: Kadarius Toney set to make debut with Cleveland Browns

Toney got called up to the active roster for the Broncos game due to Cedric Tillman having a concussion. While Toney will have an opportunity to see the field he will be splitting snaps with backups Jaelon Darden and Jamari Thrash.

Both Darden and Thrash have not seen much playing time this season. Darden has recorded one reception on one target for six yards on 5% of offensive snaps. Meanwhile, Thrash has one reception-on-one target for 13 yards in 13% of offensive snaps.

Although Darden has been in the NFL for a few seasons now, Toney has more experience than both guys combined. Yet, his roster position before Monday afternoon was worse.

It will certainly be interesting to see which one of these backup receivers sees the most action with Tillman out. If it's Toney will he be able to make more out of the oppertunity then he did in Kansas City or New York.
